First and foremost, I’d like to say thanks for visiting my blog! As you’ve guessed by now, my name is Savannah and I’m beginning my journey as a writer. I have an 8-year-old sour patch kid named Dallas, I graduated from Moravian College in May 2016 with an English B.A., a minor in sociology, and a writing arts certification, and am now pursuing a Writing Studies M.A. at Saint Joseph’s University. I’m also a veteran; I served on active duty for six years in the United States Air Force and was stationed in TX for all six years. After separating from the military, I started school and quickly realized that writing felt like my purpose in life. I’ve found that I am the most passionate about feminist rhetorical theory, creative nonfiction, and the female veteran writing canon. I like to switch it up a bit in terms of genre and try out different things, so I’ll do my best to keep things interesting! I hope you enjoy my work as you explore my blog!
