What’s meant to be will be.

Life is not always as it seems.

Sacrifice comes at the expense of dreams.

When the darkness feels safer than the light,

Give into your soul.

There’s a little bit in each of us–

Just choose which one makes you feel free; 

Makes the pain subside; 

Gives you whatever form of hope you desire. 

Live and love as freely as you can, 

Because in life, there are no take backs.

Just empty promises, disappointment, and heart break. 

So find yourself. 

Find yourself amongst the angels and demons–

Find your purpose between the two.

Some people will never understand who you are.

But does it really matter? 

You are not lost,

Not found,

Just simply searching in this empty world. 

But at least you have the courage to admit that. 

Most people would rather go on pretending life is perfect;

Yet, you know better.

And you’re not giving up.
